Right now I am currently in college for a pre-apprenticeship to be an electrician. my next step is finding a place to do my 4 year apprenticeship, if i applied to be an Electrical Distribution Technician (i guess that's the equivalent?) would there be any pros/cons to doing my 4 years there as...

ok last question ... for now :P,  do you have to be able to do the minimum physical at the beginning or is it ok as long as you can do it at the end?
