I'm in Victoria BC now and it took a week to get my 2.5 year old file (I saw it with my own eyes) from the Montreal CFRC. Not bad considering they said it would take 2 weeks... and I was called when it had arrived!

They mean that your file looks competitive enough to get you a spot on the next officer course which should be around May 2007.  You could read through this entire thread, lots of info about this: http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/44696.0.html Did they (recruiting centre) mention anything...

Since the next course is going to be in the spring/summer, I wonder if DEO candidates get mixed with RMC and ROTP people. I'm assuming yes since the training is all the same.
