Hello all, I swear in on the 23rd.  When they gave me the swear in date, I was emailed all the info needed.  Included was a school info booklet, emergency notification sheet, NOK sheet, BMO application sheet, and another (my 4Th)security clearance sheet.  Hopefully that helps. See you soon!

Well I just received the call today!  I will be starting basic training on the 1st of November!  Did anyone else get a call this week?

Way back on page 17 there was mention that selections for Med-Tech was in July or August.  If possible, could someone please confirm this? 

Well I haven't heard from anyone in a while, so I figured I would ask where everyone is in the process.  Are there any road blocks or updates anyone can share that we should know about?

I can not find what "PATS" or "404's" are.  Can someone please direct me to what these mean?  Appreciated!!

Hello.  My PLAR process took appx. 4-5 months.  Apparently this is the usual amount of time it takes.  I was speaking with my recruiters today, and they stated that there are "SOME POSITIONS STILL AVAILABLE" for the semiskilled MED-TECH trade.  As for when I will be merit listed or sworn in...

My PLAR has finally been completed.  British Columbia PCP course is equivalent to a partial QL-3.  I will have to complete the clinical, and field portions when BMQ has been completed.  My recruiter stated that my file is now in the hands of the "Deck Commander", and I will be getting my merit...

I am applying for Med -Tech as well.  At present i am in month 5 of waiting on the PLAR.  I go in to the recruiting office tomorrow to ask more questions.

Fellow Med-Tech here as well.  Here is a bit of my application process so far. Application up to interview went very quickly! April 2013 - I was recommended to continue my PCP / IV cert. class here in Victoria BC. Oct 2013 - Completed PCP / IV cert. course. Nov 2013 - Told to get my BC...
