They can if they build two and then build one for Norway, built another for UK etc... UK has the same crewing issues as all the rest of us, and digesting a new ship takes some time, so it will allow for that time if done properly. At least IMHO it will work.

Japanese SPY 7 project tracked a space target this last week. Next step is 4 panels instead of 1. Good news for the CSC project as our solution is very very similar to the Japanese one.

More like the CRCN just thinks the name sounds cooler. But its not tonnage and armaments that get the classification. Its role and sensors.

This was literally my exact proposal I submitted to one of the board members. Keep the battle honours, change the name and the ships crest to be reimagined by an artist from that community. Because some of those crests are... lets just say dated.

I think @Oldgateboatdriver mentioned once that a CPF could destroy all the ship at the Battle of the River Plate without them ever even knowing the ship was there.

There are few things I look at. First is modern networked sonobuoys. There are a few launch options which might work in the mission bay. Certainly bolt on processing or storage are possible. The secondly and not quite proven tech yet but possibly more important... Anti Torpedo Torpedos...

Given the massive size of the flight deck it might work with some driveway jiggery (wife needs to take the truck but its in front of the car). I honestly do not think that we would ever take two helo's. A uav probably though.

Ask for something and let the engineers tell you where it can fit... There are other critical design constraints that need to be accounted for. Like tonage, and in particular upper deck space (as electronics are much more important than missiles), power and their relationship to speed. Also...
