    Hopefully Getting A Call

Since November 2010 they wouldn't let me apply for Infantry knowing it was closed and unlikely to open. Last month I've been told by CFRC they KNEW it wouldn't open in April. I will give another call tomorrow. Let's just hope your recruiter was right.

I think you're talking about the fitness test they give to Reserve applicants. This one is prior to enrollment and BMQ.

You're right, it is not. I wanted to give him a general idea of distance/time since he never timed himself.

    Injury Question

You've been waiting for quite some time now and I assume you've been preparing for the day the phone rings so just keep it up! As for your chances to get a job offer, I'm in no position to tell if your education will play against you. However, upgrading your education is always a good idea...

    The usual

Kratz, my last post applied to me as much as any other new member. As a newbie to this forum I did my share of mistakes, learned from it and keep learning everyday. My point of view still stands whether you agree or not.

    The usual

I'll risk my self replying to this thread. As an active member of other forums, I can (and I'm sure many of you can) tell this issue is not specific to this forum. The fact that army.ca is a serious forum about army things, and specifically The Recruiting topic, I totally understand and agree...

2nd Canadian Armored Brigade on Greatest Tank Battles (WWII)

I wrote Fusiliers de Sherbrooke because that's what was stated on the show if I remember correctly . I honestly don't know the history of this particular regiment.  :-[ Thanks for clarifying the subject!

2nd Canadian Armored Brigade on Greatest Tank Battles (WWII)

Yeah, the animations are very simple but you get to see something while the narrator repeats himself  :P I thought it was funny when the Canadian had to wake up his gunner sleeping in the turret.

2nd Canadian Armored Brigade on Greatest Tank Battles (WWII)

For those interested in Canadian Armored history. Tonight on Military Channel's Greatest Tank Battles was the history of the 2nd Armored Brigade Fusiliers de Sherbrooke Regiment who fought their way inland against a stubborn and ruthless German defense. How they fought the 12th SS Panzer...

Soldier Qualification Course (Questions & Answers)

Thank you!  :) (sorry for the not so clear question. It wasn't clear in my head either with all the name changes/different designations per trade, etc.).

Soldier Qualification Course (Questions & Answers)

For that part yes. (This might not be the best thread to ask in, sorry) My question was regarding courses following BMQ-L/DP1. Not sure if it's still valid but if I look at the CF Courses List thread it should be QL3, QL6A, QL6B and QL7. So BMQ (which is now 10 weeks) + BMQ-L/DP1/BIQ = about...

Soldier Qualification Course (Questions & Answers)

Just making sure, once BMQ-L is done and you are posted, does the following infantry courses require you to stay 24/7 on base for a certain amount of time or do you get a regular daily schedule with evenings and week-ends off (unless you're sent in a specific PO)?
