There are 5-6 Reservists in the same platoon as me at CFLRS. I don't know how common that is though.

Navy give almost all the kit back to CFLRS. You dont need it. You will keep your navy clothing. You need a picture frame on your desk for inspection. It's your connection to home. Don't bother bringing one with you, as they will make you buy one at Canex. Just like the joining Instructions state.

Every member of the CF is a soldier first, and what ever their trade is second. Also, every army trade does SQ. Don't join for V Tech unless it's something you want to do. Your not going to be an infantry soldier who might fix a vehicle, you will be someone who fixes vehicles who might have to...

All MP's get promoted to Cpl upon completion on BMQ. What you did to qualify for the trade has no bearing. Be it a tour in Afghanistan, Police Foundations, or Criminal Justice etc.

Yes you get scrap paper to work equations out. Everything you do in the Application process is competitive. I don't see the medical being any different.

I'll stand by you on this one. I was asked about Legal Obligations (pending charges, witness to an event, and even Jury Duty) during my interview and again when they called with my Offer. They won't process an application if you have any.
