I was going by what my BC (Bty Commander) talked to us about last Parade night. He said that when the new monarch takes over, all the new barrels for the guns that are made will have the new cypher. Before long the old barrel comes off and the new one takes it's place.

I'm quite confident King Charles might want to have the "ER II" which is inscribed on top of the barrel of the 105 Howitzer changed.  :)

Ah yes, they better start sewing new WO epaulette's  ;D

So I guess eventually we'll have King Charles to replace Queen Elizabeth II, how might this effect the CF? Would we have the KR&O's? Have to change all those pictures hanging up in messes?  :)

I'm going to be doing SQ and MQ (arty trades course) this summer, and was just wondering what people had to say about CFB Gagetown for doing courses. The quarters, the food, etc.

Yes..I guess the system of course serials only exists withing the specific Brigade group. We had no real incidents such as kicked rifles or saluted WO's  ;D. After a day of parade practice, of course.

My friend's dad had one once..If I can remember what it said... "Your emotional nature is very strong and emotional" :D

;D ;D Strangely enough, I have 2 seperate incidents, both involving people from This Hour has 22 Minutes, and air travel. First, I once noticed I was on the same flight as Mary Walsh (a pretty small flight, too). Also, my father once realized he was selling airline tickets to Colin Mochrie.

What I don't like is that it wasn't from an employee of that particular outlet. It came from farther back somewhere, so maybe lots of fingers got shipped around to lots of Wendy's outlets, all over the continent  :P

I don't know the reason for the "regulation", but having just completed weekend BMQ, I can sort of understand. PT is the one type of training that soldiers can carry out on their own time, when they're at home. Maybe military time should be reserved for the training that needs to be fit into the...

I had my BMQ Graduation Parade today, all went well. Thought I'd share some pictures.

I chose WNSR, because they taught my BMQ  :D

If you want to pronounce it as latin would be traditionally pronounced, I would guess: "Seller et odd-axe" Basically as it's spelled.

If you can do 50 in a row you're ok for BMQ. At least if you were on my BMQ you'd be fine. Depends on your coursemates abilities and your staff.

I know very little about cadets, but sometimes their practices cause me to raise an eyebrow. On my weekend BMQ the other day, there was a group of Cadets at the base for some occasion or another. Half of them were dressed in uniform (one with a blob of chocolate sauce down the front  ;D) and...

Plus, unless I'm missing something, I can never see the results..a tad pointless  :)
