I took an offer from the Military for my Second Choice of Armoured Crewman, deciding that I could not wait until June to go to MPAC and maybe get considered for the job and wait even longer to be loaded on to an MPAC if I wasnt chosen the first time around...and even longer for a bmq date. So...

yeah i suspect I will get a call in a couple weeks to let me know firm dates... i am scheduled to be at the mega on the 24th of july as well. I have been following a workout timeline as well, will be prepapre for the fitness by the time basic comes

Hey! I am going to the July 26th BMQ as well! Going in as armoured too! Where you shippin out from? I am taking a train from Cobourg, Ontario on July 24th.

See that is weird, cause I called April 7th to inquire about the MPAC for April (my first trade was MP) and my file manager told me that it was cancelled and but I was offered a job as Armoured Crewman(Second Choice) and my BMQ Date is July 26th. So maybe give another call and check on your...

Yeah, just think...I will be in week 6 by the time you get to basic!...maybe depending on course dates, i might run into ya and be on the same course after basic with ya! I have been hearin amoured is back logged 2 months. See ya on the greener side of the hill  :D

haha nawww, cause I will be an MP, just a matter of time. Just have to go through a couple years of armoured and then hope that they accept an OT

I just called the Recruiting Centre Oshawa today, and the MCpl on the phone told me that my file has been merit listed, and I should be receiving a job offer within two weeks. Did anyone else get a similar response?
