BMQ August 2007 - ALL locations

Lucky you, http://www.forces.ca/v3/engraph/resources/howtojoin_en.aspx?bhcp=1 if you check the physical fitness guide the pushups required are only around 20 I believe (The PDF just keeps locking up on my PC for some reason). 27 is above the requirement so no warrior platoon for you. Personally...

BMQ August 2007 - ALL locations

I've taken the sad numbers they've got listed on the site and made sure I trump them. (11:56 2.4k run, like 20pushups/situps. ) If there's another one I'm not all that aware of it, I'm still letting my leg heal up from hurting it when training for running so I might not be able to do that part...

BMQ August 2007 - ALL locations

Assuming you had the exact same process as I did. The sheet is in the left side of your welcome aboard folder from signing in. It's the typed out sheet that as a rookie is impossible to read for the most part. Line 3. has a series of numbers in a bracket the last portion of those seem to be your...

BMQ August 2007 - ALL locations

They told us some numbers while we were being sworn in. Although it was pretty mixed in with the 4 hours of paperwork and with nothing with it listed in front of me I can't remember mine.

    Packing for Basic [MERGED]

I seriously have no idea why you guys get so offended when someone decides to take their time out of their day to retype some info. It's a discussion sometimes we re-use words and ideas, if we didn't conversations would run out far too quickly. But I'm sure there's a reason

    Packing for Basic [MERGED]

I was told you're given an advance but it's not even going to come remotely close to the amount of money you need to cover the things you need to buy. If you just finished at St. Jean and had to dump alot of stuff for a new set at Canex, any tips on specifically what not to buy? I don't want to...

    Injury Prior to Enrollment

I've spent a few hours dragging over countless running articles, injury forums and after attempting to diagnose what I feel I've got nothing certain but it's definitely not the ankle (Although while I ran that's the first thing I thought felt pain, I later found out it was more shin related) I...

    Injury Prior to Enrollment

Well I found one thread similar to this but when attempting to reply it warned me that it was over 100 days old and I should start a new one. So here's my question: I've been preparing physically (I've always been in shape just never been much of a runner) So as I read it said try to be able...

    Packing for Basic [MERGED]

I was just sitting here wondering what I'll be saying someday. I had to use the internet back in my day! Damn you blasted kids and your hypno crap!

Why bother someone at the CFRC when I have so many chipper enjoyable people eager to offer their advice to the new guys here?

    Packing for Basic [MERGED]

Thanks to everyone and especially sapper, I thought so but I just wanted to double check. I didn't copy and paste the instructions unfortunately I read them and typed each part out. Glad to hear I don't have to hunt down a gas mask.

    Packing for Basic [MERGED]

Alright I know you guys are going to want to kill me because new threads are the epitome of evil. Regardless I'm sorry but after using the search function many times people seemed to have a question about one item or another but no major lists. So I'm headed to BMQ August 19th and am going super...

    A great BMQ video.

This is a movie we were shown when we were sworn in. Definitely gave some good info, and the officer performing the ceremony gave us tips like the two shave kits and doubling up on stuff in our personal case to wear so our locker would look presentable as often as possible.
