Hahahahaha...On a more serious note, Latrine,  I called my recruiter yesterday to check and see if DEO Infantry opened up. To his surprise, it did open and they are in the process of filling spots.  He checked my file and told me that it said that I would be getting a call to receive an offer...

Talked to my career counselor today to keep my file updated, he said my file says to call and offer DEO Infantry position.  Should be getting a call after all the logistics of it are figured out :)

Hey man, good luck on getting in!  I'v been waiting 8 months so far and will be waiting until april at the earliest!  I applied for DEO Infantry.  All I have to say is, once I get that phone call I will be the happiest man alive!

Hi guys, I was just wondering if Infantry officers get to attend the same courses that the NCM's do?  Reason being shouldn't they know a little about recce, jumping out of planes, snipping in order to command the NCM's? Or are they just briefed on the courses?

No I am not a PRes.  I just finshed my finance degree last year, and currently put in an App to become a Combat Eng.  Hopefully once reaching Corporal status,  CF will give me a shot at SAR.

FDO thanks for the response.  The reason I am asking this is because I am debating getting my PCP and then applying for DE Sar.  I don't know if I should go straight NCM and wait for my promotion to corporal or take my chance, go to school for 10 months and then apply.  Do you have a opinion on...
