I'm on the Eurostar & bored....
Havokfour - war to spoilt the plot - they haven't shown e7 in the UK yet!
Mc - meh, Shane is way too pretty to play any kind if villain - even with a shaved head!
Exactly! Not enough zombie action!
Do you think zombies need to eat? Can a zombie starve to death? And why would you keep zombies alive feeding them chickens when there is limited fresh food?
But I still like anything with zombies in it so I'm committed to watching the series even if it has...
Yeah well the Blair/Brown clown show seemed to be a combination of clueless ambition and no grasp of basic maths much less fiscal and global economics.
As for the MoD...I meet many people who want to improve the situation but genuinely don't know how to. They perceive barriers where there...
I understand what you are saying but I believe we need to learn from our decisions and right now we can and need to do better.
And this is not just a government problem...the whole of the defence sector needs to lift it's game.
That is all true. Although my company sponsored an event to raise awareness in the biker clubs for Help for Heroes in 2007 I was repeatedly asked by bikers why they should raise money for veterans care - they assumed and believed it was something the government should take care of.
My reply...
Are you flatt footed?
You might benefit from arch support using insoles or customised track shoes with better insole support.
I used to run 6 days a week, 5 miles a day and I found it was the frequency of the running caused the problem not the running. These days I ride a spinner bike to high...
I don't understand what happened to the poppy sellers in the UK this year but they were very few of them and I didn't see any collection boxes on any counters anywhere! Usually they are readily available everywhere well in advance of 11/11 and I am able to buy one every day for a week!
I only...
I just googled Starting Strength. Never heard the term before. Very interesting. Thanks for the tip.
I really like to work out but know nothing much about the science behind it. My commitment is to stay fit and able - how I get there is optional so I am keen to explore. I've been working...
Good grief Kratos - you deadlift 520 pounds?!?
Good for you!
Thanks for all the information. I'll keep researching and hopefully I'll design something that'll work for me. My current programme is not challenging me anymore so I am scoping for options. Power lifting is definitely not for...
Thanks Kratos.
Is your avatar you? Because if it is then I am amazed you look like that from what appears to be a simple (albeit no doubt hard) work out. How long have you been weight training? And what weights are you using (not that I would use your weights as a guide for me!!)?
Does it...
Well, thank you for such a detailed response.
Someone in my office just demonstrated all those positions. Interesting. I can do them but my wrist problem limits the amount of weight I can use. At the moment I am using 2 x 8kg dumbells (about 35 pounds) and even that is causing a lot of pain...
No offence but they are so developed they don't look like anyone I have ever met! It's impressive & no doubt a lot of hard work!
And, Kratos, it probably still is a legit site but it is nothing like anything I have ever seen before.
Thanks for your advice.
I do have a problem with heavy weights due to my wrist. I broke it when I was 12 and had surgery to re-break it which left me with significant nerve damage which led me to favour it resulting in weaker tendons and shoulder problems. It's okay for normal daily...
