According to the forces.ca website it looks like many trades have reopened up and are "now hiring". Tried calling the CFRC but no answer. Anyone have any insider info? Specifically Infantry and Armour officer.

As far as I know Infantry officer is closed... not sure about Arty though.

I was in a CFRC today and a recruiter showed me his updated list of trades. According to him each trade is ranked 1 to 5 with the more competitive trades being ranked higher.

Yeah I hope I am too. The sooner the better. I think the DEO course dates on Sept. 16 and 30 are for trades that are open but who knows.... keep our fingers crossed!

Yeah I bought one today. Even after one day since my medical my pressure is down to 128/80 on average. Im not so concerned anymore.

Wait im confused. Did the CF turn down your application 3 years ago when you applied due to drug use? Or are you saying that last month (January) was the last time you smoked pot? Im pretty sure they want at least 6 months before you can apply. Maybe someone else can chime in.

I called them last week and they said they received the documents, but I still have not gotten any call from the local RC to book anything. Anyone apply after the new year and been scheduled for testing at their local RC?

I mailed everything to the CFVRC around 2 weeks ago and still havent got any confirmation that they have received my documents. Anyone else in the same boat?
