Are CADPAT pattern Head Caps authorized to be worn with CADPAT uniform?

I was just wondering if it is authorized to wear a CADPAT pattern hat with the CADPAT uniform? The link below shows the cap I would want to purchase if it's allowed to be worn.. Thanks.

Good rule of thumb, if it wasn't issued to you, then most likely that it won't be allowed.

Don't listen to him. You will impress your sergeant major with your flair and elan, and be the envy of your coursemates as you gaze into the middle-far ground as you judge distance, whilst not being hindered by the sun in your eyes, while they labour under the weight of their issue bush caps.

Plus you could box it for that uber-moto, heartbreak ridge, chesty-puller-has-nothing-on-me-look. Sew on velcro for that 'I'm too operational for this ****'  feel and slather it with IR tags and morale patches.


.....or just avoid the outright ridicule you would endure should you wear that silly piece of kit and just stick with the kit you are issued.
