I have a question, and perhaps someone out there may know the answer.

My father pasted away recently, and I was given his CD2.   Is it possible to get either the Queen's Jubilee and, or the Canada 125 medals awarded to him?

Does anyone know to whom I could inquire to whether this is possible?   My father served for the majority of his life, and having a medal along side his CD would honor his memory proudly.

Thank you for your help.

Queen's Golden Jubilee:  was essentially a lottery system provided you had the established amount of time in and rank.  I don't know if they're still accepting nominations for this or not (I doubt that they are)

Hope that helps a bit.

Can commemoratives be awarded posthumously?

I know of one instance where the widow of an Honorary Colonel was presented his award of the QGJM. But it may be that the nomination was approved while he was alive.
