Hi i'm applying for infantry and had done my CFAT. The only problem is i'm stuck on my medical. The doc said i had too much blood on my urine so now i have to see the kidney doctor and wait for the results to be passed on to the army doc. What are the possibilities of me getting turned down for the position i'm applying for or if ever i do pass this problem, how long would i have to wait before i can go to BMQ? Thanks..

The only way to determine all that is to go see the doctor and see where it leads.

No one here has the answer you want, simple as that

I'm no doctor but yes one might consider blood in your urine an issue,  I think that might be something worth getting checked out

It's between you, your doctors, and Recruiting - we can't wargame all the possibilites for you here (nor shouldn't - bad medicine and bad juju).  See the specialist, find out what's wrong, correct it if possible and keep moving on with your app.

Cheers and good luck.

I had the exact same thing. The RC told me that in 95% of the cases it return negative. Blood in urine can be there for alot of reasons (Too much exercises is an example). I know for a fact that when you hear that you are kinda freaking. I went to see a specialist and he told me that normally if you are under 40, they do not do further testing.

For your information, it took me 2 months to get the results from the specialist, If you want fast results go private, chances are you will have to go pass an abdominal echography, and getting and appointement for that in the public health system takes a while.

This is precisely where I am and after searching Google for all possible causes, heck it could be anything from too much crappy food, to urinary tract infections to kidney stones.

After the appointment at the walk-in, had to get a KUB x-ray (Kidney, Ureters and Bladder).  After a few days, results came back with nothing.  Get another appointment for the doc to send me for a CT scan.  The test is 30 DAYS from then.  Then its wait for results, and then its TREAT whatever the problem is.

I think the military is interested in recurrent medical problems.

Pray its just a small stone I tell myself...cuz I do NOT wanna be delivering ANYTHING outta THAT hole!!
