This week‘s Maclean‘s magazine has two stories on the military, along with some pictures.
The first story, "Having a Blast", follows the 48th Highlanders on their last field exercise of the year, in November, at Meaford. It runs about three pages, with some pictures, and is a bit light but good publicity for the unit.
The second article follows a larger exercise in Sherbrooke, Quebec, and is entitled "The Troops Go to Town". Apparently the exercise was quite big (2,500 troops, 300 vehicles).
Both articles can also be viewed online at www.macleans.ca, where there is a photo gallery featuring pictures from both events.
