Nursing Officer Positions?

Hi!

I recently confirmed enrolment with the navy, although have yet to sign my offer of employment pending my RN license. I chose the Navy, I was wondering if anyone could describe the role of RNs in the navy?

Nursing Officer is a so-called "purple trade", which means that your environmental uniform has no bearing on where you may be employed. You are as likely to end up in Edmonton as Halifax.
