Did anyone else hear that QL3 is being cut down to 26 days? Thats the story
in my Battalion anyway. I just want to know how you can properly train a
soldier, even though they are reserve, in 26 days. Has anyone else heard
this news?

Apparently the QL3 Infantry course the troops from my regiment will be on will last from July 20-August 24. I think the whole plan is to put more responsibility in the hands on the individual units to teach the more advanced skills/weaponry.

16 day ql 2 / 26 day ql 3. for all other than Infantry..no NBCD, no LMG,
no C6, no Grenades.
If .... ......there are any members in the crowd in the know, it
might be beneficial to let us in on the big picture. I am confident
though, that our chain of command would Never do anything to put our
young soldiers at risk. There must be some secret plan that will, no
doubt, ultimately benefit Canada‘s fighting force as a whole.
