My search didn't come up with a clear answer. Sorry if this has been covered.
I was wondering, once you've done BMQ and BIQ and your posted somewhere, what is the daily job of an infantry soldier from that point to being sent on a campaign? I'm sure there is still lot of training involve but do you work your 40 hours/5 days a week similar to civilian job and what are you asked to do? Do solely infantry work/training or maybe you're asked to work on the base doing several non-infantry related tasks?
