Questions before joining the CF

Hi,

I'm 16 right now and I want to join the CF, I want to be a pilot, but if I can't, I want to go Infantry.
Correct me if I'm wrong but to be a pilot I have to join as an officer, and to be a sniper I have to be a Non-Commissioned Member, right?
I'm asking this because I don't want to join as an officer and then find out that I'm not qualified to be a pilot, because my second option is to be in the infantry as a Non-Commissioned Member.
BTW do i have to go to an University in order to become any of the above?
