"Space Weapons" - New Small Arms of the CF

The other night at my unit, we had a weapons specialist come in and show us the new "space weapons" of the CF including the C7A2, the C8 with holographic scope, the C9A2 (sweetest new mods) the C7CT (i want one) and the Mcmillan .50 cal.

Apparently we are supposed to be seeing all of these weapons except the .50 cal in the next 2-3 years all over the place. Any input?
