Thomas Henry Webb is my grandfather though he doesn‘t know I exist. He is from Ontario and was stationed in the Shoreham area of Sussex in England during WW2 where he met my grandmother. Rumour has it that they married but that my great grandmother did not want my grandmother to leave England. They had twin daughters (my mother and aunt). My aunt recently died and my mother is now very ill. Before she dies she wants to know anything that anyone can tell her about her father. Did anyone serve in Sussex who can remember Thomas Webb or Erica Coles (long dead)? Can anyone remember which units were stationed in the Shoreham or Worthing area? It‘s looking like a long search and I would appreciate any information or memories from that time.
