Timing
33. Commanding Officers shall offer members further terms of service IAW Appendix 1 of Annex A of this instruction as follows:
no less than 15 months prior to the completion of a 3-year VIE;
24 months prior to the completion of all other VIEs; and
24 months prior to the completion of all other TOS detailed in Appendix 1 of Annex A and paragraph 15 charts of this instruction.
34. Members may be required to re-engage earlier than normal as a condition of:
selection for formal training leading to QL 5 or higher qualification, and/or education as prescribed by DGMC;
occupational transfer; or
other circumstances as prescribed by the CDS.
