I just received some interesting GERMAN collectables that I believe came out of the Gauleiters office in Oldenberg Germany. Does anyone know if Canadian troops liberated this city ?

Yes, they were definitely there.

They didn‘t "liberate" it, since it was German. Can‘t liberate a town from the Germans when it is German to begin with. They captured it. It was one of the last German cities captured by the Canadians.

So true , would you happen to be one of the troops into that city Micheal ? I obtained an oil painting of Hitlers cut out of a wall mural and a large photo taken out of an office from that city
