I always anticipated linking the units to the existing regiment pages (don't know if I will get the time though).  It would certainly make a shorter list to move addresses into the Regt page.

Good Work

Thanks for getting the unit pages up and running, I think this is off to a good start. Michael Dorosh 14:05, 19 May 2006 (EDT)

Regiments with both reserve and Regular battalions

I was wondering how I go about the reserve battalions of RCR, PPCLI, and Vandoos. I am still trying to wrap my head around the Regimental system.

Personally, I'd just have one page describing the regiment and mention there are both Reg and Res battalions. I think you've done that already. What do we do about 8th Hussars though - aren't they a "Total Force" Regiment? ;) Michael Dorosh 17:14, 19 May 2006 (EDT)

Brigade Images

Hey there - here are the images for the brigade pages as you come to them! I've added 39, 41, 1 and 2 bde badges to the pages already.

Got it, we were editing 41 CBG at the same time, but I got it so that the picture and the link were in.

Notes to self:

The Grey and Simcoe Foresters is spelt wrong in my list.

10 Escadron du Genie de Campagne, replaces 10 Field Engineer Squadron in Quebec City 51 Svc Battalion in list should be 55 instead

Unit List

I was thinking, with the unit list, changing the format to this:

==Saskatchewan==
===Regina===
18 F Bty 10th Field Artillery Regiment RCA
The Royal Regina Rifles
16 (Saskatchewan) Service Battalion
16 Field Ambulance (Regina & Saskatoon)

Then having the addresses on the unit pages themselves, that way the unit page won't be so long. We then make a whole bunch of "stubs" by making pages for the Svc Bns (and other unit types) with their addresses, even if there is nothing else. That way when people come accross it they can add themselves. I find it easier to add to something than create something new. I would like to know what you think. I have lots of time as my job hasn't started yet, so I can make the changes.
