I'm sorry, but for Saluting on the march isnt the count    Check up, 2,3,4,5, Down, Swing  ...the numbers 2-5 being each step you take. and the swing being just start marching again I've never heard of it being Check Up Check Down, when saluting on the march. sorry maybe theres something...

CI Phillips was my Sgt at Blackdown in 2004...and shes right, befriending your staff does make it easier...it gives a sense of trust and makes the experience more fun =) and for stuff to bring...before you go to camp...look over your kit like 5 times because you never know, you could be missing...

Sgt, Standard first aid, Bronze, CLI Drill and Ceremonial, Silver Star [Skipped gold, doing my nsce this year] and thats about it lol...prolly the lowest qualified sgt in my corps lol
