Aside from the entertainment value of watching two septugenarian footballers scrap, notice the guy in DEUs in the video below:

Looks like a CWO or MWO broke up the "fight" ... any idea who it was?

Yeah the full length video is available on youtube at:

It was certainly a bit awkward afterwards.  There's also a LCol in the video helping Angelo Mosca on the stage...and back up afterwards.

Not only was Angelo Mosca a CFL football player for quite a few years, he had a second career as a wrestler.  As a child, I can remember watching him on Maple Leaf Wrestling as Angelo "King Kong" Mosca.  Quite a colourful character - I had opportunity to meet him about 10 years ago at a sports dinner.

So who will be the first in our illustrious media to make a statement to the effect...."As can be seen, Police officers had to intervene to break the two up...."

I saw that - it was ridiculous and embarassing to see two old fogies that should know better scrap it out.

They should have left that crap on the field.

Thanks to our firewall, I'll have to wait until I get home to watch this.

I had a "ring-side" seat to all of this - The House of Heroes Luncheon is a joint venture between the CFL Alumni and the PPCLI Foundation.

The fight was exceedingly odd, and some of the Alumni actually walked out in disgust.  Having said that, there is something to be said for passion....
