Thanks ,Old Sweat ,the reason I asked was, in Calgary in  the 59 -63 period I seem to remember the
QOR had the four deuce in their mortar plt.your answer confirms that my memory served me well.
Kirkhill,I think that the fact that the Army has been called to fight after such a long period of peace
and peacekeeping has proved that a lot of the changes that have been forced on the military over the
last couple of decades have not led to better war fighting capabilities but have been driven by the
monatary concerns.
