Hey everyone, I have a question about the Drug History sheet.

After I finished my CFAT, I was then passed a "Drug History" sheet, to fill out of different drugs used in the past, including alcohol, and frequency of usage.

I was never an addict to any drugs whatsoever, and occasionally (2 to 3 times a month) drink alcohol socially. Although about a year and a half ago or so, I did try marijuana once, but decided that it's not for me, and that it wouldn't help me out in my future whatsoever.
So I wrote on the form that I had done it once. I was 17 or so at the time when I had done it, and still in high school.

My question is, will this have any effect on me being accepted into the Forces? and will this be a concern to them?

I'm sure a lot of people have tried, or experienced marijuana a few times in their life, so I am unsure how this could affect my career.

Please let me know,

Thanks.

I doubt anyone here would know. Best to ask someone at you're CFRC/D, as they can shed more light to you're situation.

Did the recruiting officer talk to you about what you had written on the form?  If not then don't worry about it and carry on with the rest of the processing. Out.

If you've not used marijuana for a year, you're good to go (according to the recruiter dealing with my son).

Edit: remember him, Kincanucks?  ;D

Oh yes.

Also, just out of curiosity, they do a piss test, am I right? How about a blood test and polygraph?
I know the RCMP does polygraph.

You're stressing.......calm down.

Haha, okay, I'm just worried a bit. Because I'm really looking forward to a military career, but I also lived with room mates for the past 6 months, that frequently smoked marijuana, and it filled out apartment, and not sure if that will have an effect on me either.
I just don't want anything to affect my future career.

Don't worry bed honest, you can always clean up and re apply,

pm me for my details
