I recently completed my Interview for the Canadian ARMY. CFAT and Medical all done. Security Clearance approved.

However. I can no longer login to the Application Portal.

It always says "SAML Bad Assertion Error" and has for a few days now.

Hopefully my application won't require any further use of this portal .. but if it does. How do I resolve this?

There is nothing you can do on your end. It is a system glitch with the authentication service. It will come back up

Thanks for the reply - I have been getting the same SAML Bad Assertion Error. Hoping it is cleared up soon...

i have the same issue but i already done the med and interview all done but still the site not working yet.

My understanding is that the demand was underestimated by a factor of ten, so additional back end computing power is being brought on to fix it.

Frankly, having so many people wanting to join the CAF that the server crashed is a good thing.

So we had 11 people try to sign up on the same day?

I was able to get into the 'new' portal ... but it took 2 hours of MFA codes and resetting passwords.

To start to get in, issue a password reset for the email you registered with. I did not have a password as I signed in thru my bank before this.

Once that happens, on your first sign in, you'll be forced to reset your password again. Each of these requests will require a MFA code.

Finally you will get an device authorization MFA, Then you are in.

I got 'invalid MFA' for about an hour straight, even thou i was definitely absolutely using the correct MFA.

Good on you for powering thru.
This is why we can't have nice things!
