INF MCpl to JAG officer

I will be entering my 1st year of law school in September.

Is there any scope for an infantry mcpl to transfer over to a jag officer in the reserves during my time of studies? The JAG website states eligible candidates must 'be a member in good standing of a Canadian provincial law society'

I assume this is something I will have to follow up with the recruiting centre and my chain of command, but if anyone has any helpful info in this trade it would be appreciated.

To my knowledge, on the reserve side you must be a lawyer already, not at school. 

That being said, there OPMEs and the PORT course that would give you some exposure to military law (correction: the code of service discipline) while still another trade.
