Putin Gets a Pup

PM Putin received this beautiful Bulgarian shepherd from the Bulgarian PM. Putin a dog lover who would have known ? Now I want to find one to add to my pet collection. They get to be 120 pounds or so and have been known to attack wolves and bears in defense of their master's property.

On Wednesday, before a scheduled meeting with leaders of Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin’s United Russia party, Putin’s black Labrador retriever, Koni, snuck into the room in his Novo-Ogaryovo residence where the treasure laid.

Instead of admiring the beautifully assembled pastries, biscuits and jellied desserts, “Koni ate everything,” said one of the prime minister’s bodyguards.

Thankfully, Putin hasn’t announced any stomach pains since the incident. Then again, we can rest assure that Koni has the finest veterinary care offered in Russia.

Koni previously made headlines for taking Russia’s satellite navigation system for a test-drive. Putin has also been quoted as saying that Koni “gives me good advice.”

I know way too many of these stories from personal experience.....
