So I'm now preparing for my interview and am gathering as much information together as I possibly can about the Combat Engineer trade so I at least sound like I know what I'm talking about haha. I have a ton of links and information already as I've been researching for the past year but I noticed something that I found curious. On the Combat Engineer Education & Training page (http://www.forces.ca/en/job/combatengineer-5#education-2), for Soldier Qualification it says it will be held at a Military Training Centre. In the video (http://www.forces.ca/en/job/combatengineer-5) the Sergeant says that it can be held at one of the Canadian Forces Battle Schools at Valcartier, Quebec, Newport, Ontario, or Wainwright, Alberta. So will it for sure be held at one of those 3 places? I want to know for sure so I don't get it wrong and mess up my interview.
Also, I found a thread on these forums (http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/23622.0.html) while searching that had a whole lot of conflicting information which was to be somewhat expected since the thread covered about 9 years of information, but is it still called Soldier Qualification or is it BMQ-L or something different now? I want to nail down these details so I impress the officer giving the interview and better my chances of getting in. Thanks for any help!
