Uniform style

I was just wondering what type of Uniform you wear in Basic and other times.  I have seen Canadian Soldeirs in Full Green uniform as well as Camofluage.  Which one would you wear in the reserves.  And another question is do they give you more than one uniform, and do you have to purchase anything (boots, helmet ect) prior to joining

You will wear combats for the duration of your basic, as well as on almost all training nights.  Whether they're the old olive combats or the new CADPAT will depend on what unit you're in and what their supply policies are.  You are issued every piece of kit that you need (and a few that you probably don't!).

the combats are the older OD uniform and the new CADPAT uniform(CADPAT is replaciog all the OD stuff)

Both the new(CADPAT) and the old (solid olive green) are combats and both are camouflage.
