Now is the time to get your bets in.

Harris hasn’t had a chance yet to open her mouth. You’ll never get better odds then this.

Trump wants to do three debates and has deals with Fox, ABC and NBC. ABC was already scheduled for 10 Sept. Now it's up to Harris to agree to do the two new ones. Ball in her court.

Maybe by then her campaign will publish a policy that she can defend. Her die hard supporters have no god dam clue what she intends to do as President. You cant run a country by giggling and laughing like a lunatic for 4 years.

Her supporters won't care. Like Trump and Biden, Harris would mostly be a facade for whoever can bend her ear and convince her to front their agendas. The bluster, blank moments, or babble that go along with each of them are inconsequential.

If a poll is basically a popular vote count (head-to-head or 5-way), close numbers don't mean much because when the popular vote is closely split the outcome is highly likely to be decided by the swing states.
Not to mention overall counts don't always translate to final results because of how voting happens (like here in Canada with FPTP - popular vote #'s don't always translate directly to seat counts).

We're past that point now. Competent people don't peruse politics.
apparently we are up to 42 out of 44 Trump former cabinet members against Trump now. I wonder what they know that Trump supporters dont? Your probably right If the Republicans dont win the Presidency it wont be because Harris is some high end competent candidate (whatever that means) but because of the candidate that they chose

Someone mentioned a few months ago that who ever picks the adult in the room will win. They had their chance with Nikki Haley. the Dems decided to make their switch while they still could.

I'm not sure the DNC ticket is a winning ticket. And of all the choices for VP, they picked the worst option for them.

While that is 'a' Democratic Party platform, it's not 'the' platform that the party is running on for the upcoming election. It's the one the party accepted four years ago for the 2016 election. There is a 'draft' platform that will only become official when it is voted on at the upcoming convention.

Or the full 80 page document

Obviously leadership consensus was reached and it was written before President Biden left the ticket, so the backroom boys are probably furiously amending it, changing the names to match the nominees. Otherwise it is a very comprehensive platform and reflects what Biden/Harris and ,now, Harris/Walz have been articulating in their campaign.

And then there is the Republican Party platform (28 pages), already accepted at last months convention;

It is very much written in Trump's voice, so much so that one could think it was a tweet or whatever one calls the messages he leaves on whatever social platform he uses.

CNN (take it for what it is considering there is an ingrained bias) has an interesting annotated analysis of the GOP platform.
