The Canadian Forces Health Services (CFHS) is a reorganization of the Canadian Forces Medical Service - itself created in 1968 by integrating the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps and Royal Canadian Dental Corps with similar services of the Royal Canadian Navy and Royal Canadian Air Force.
The CFHS currently consists of a variety of units both Regular and Reserve and provide emergency medical care in the field as well as ongoing health coverage to full time members.
