The Nova Scotia Highlanders are Canada's twenty-fifth most senior Reserve Infantry regiment, and is comprised of two battalions serving as part of the Land Force Reserve. The 1st Battalion, Nova Scotia Highlanders (North) is headquartered in Truro, Nova Scotia. The 2nd Battalion, Nova Scotia Highlanders (Cape Breton) is located in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
