I'll believe it when I see it.
Willing something to be true, don’t make it trueFirst things first. Will.
Willing something to be true, don’t make it true
Canada cannot hope to fight the US, it’s just math and mass.
Just make it that there is zero reason nor an incentive for some asshat like our current President to try to do so.
I thought the normal lifecycle of warships involved spending a third of their time in refit (ie. not at sea)? The RN does need more warships, but those at sea figures don’t seem unusual.
Somewhat disappointed that the vehicle was not actually an armored one. We're in a world where even cartels are using drones to drop grenades....

But we are in a world where a high school kid could use a drone to drop explosives. Doesn't take much to get a drone, a remote release system, or make impact fuzed pipe bombs. Heck I can get everything for those at Home Depot and Walmart - would take me about an hour to make 4-5, and half of that would be driving to the stores.
Let Spender* (sic) Fernando know. He’ll start an immediate war bond drive to buy drones for our troops…Good thing we have such an advanced level of drone use in the CAF right now then, right?

He ain't wrong, let's buy 700 senators, hundreds of more LAVs, replace all our .50 cals, crv7, LVM etc get smaller shipyards on the great lakes making support ships or corvettes. Start building infrastructure across the country for the reg force and reserves to suit our needs and growth for the next 40 years.Let Spender* (sic) Fernando know. And stop sending stuff abroad. Great more Brinks trucks that have zero fucking value on a battlefield.Personally I think trucks like the Senator, Ghurka and similar produced in Canada, in their several variants (transport, pick up, ambulance, mortar carrier, flat deck with hiab crane, fitter, command, drone carrier — whatever else that can be made) should be set into permanent improvement evolution production and not limited to a specific number. Roshel is even making prototype variants based on Unimog chassis and we should look into that*. But we need these to be made in Canada as fully as possible. We needs thousands of vehicles, with hundreds if them prepositioned throughout the country.
* if only to see just how badly our procurement system can f*ck that up.
You can do both, foreign military sales represent billions to our economyAnd stop sending stuff abroad. The threat for us is here.
1 Million Senators won't do shit if we come across the border. And stop sending stuff abroad. The threat for us is here.
It’s all we have going right now Kevin. I did caveat to start improving them.1 Million Senators won't do shit if we come across the border.
Better off having Colt Canada crank out C8CQB's and IVI (or whatever it is now) cranking out 5.56mm and having enough for everyone in the country to train on and have at a local armory.
Senators are just a battle bus, what we need is more AT, even locally produced M72EC Mk2 would go along way (which we are switching to the EC2 already)1 Million Senators won't do shit if we come across the border.

I would like to think the United States Military would have more discipline then to attack a long standing alley. Especially one with such close ties.1 Million Senators won't do shit if we come across the border.
I would rather go to a larger caliber round get away from the US mandated NATO round myself if we were building a national firearms supply for Militia training for all.Better off having Colt Canada crank out C8CQB's and IVI (or whatever it is now) cranking out 5.56mm and having enough for everyone in the country to train on and have at a local armory.
unless your Catherine McKenna who said 'If you actually say it louder, we’ve learned in the House of Commons, if you repeat it, if you say it louder, if that is your talking point, people will totally believe it!'Willing something to be true, don’t make it true![]()
Math and mass aside a war of the invader is often not won by those with more might, but is lost with the diminishing the moral value of the cause.Canada cannot hope to fight the US, it’s just math and mass.
That is pretty hard to do when he has his mind set with his journalist loud mouth beside him.Just make it that there is zero reason nor an incentive for some asshat like our current President to try to do so.
I would like to think they follow legal orders. If there is a legal order to attack canada i would expect them to attack. When the military starts ignoring the civilian chain of command then you have problems.I would like to think the United States Military would have more discipline then to attack a long standing alley.
