    Standard Letter of Reference

Good day, As part of an application process for a course I have to submit a "Standard Letter of Reference" (SLOR) from my OC. Due to time constraints I'm going to get the ball rolling for the boss. When asking for a SLOR do they mean just any Letter of Reference in a standard military format or...

Just need a little help. I have to DAIG Green for an application and I'm currently "Yellow" in PFET. I'm drawing a blank on what that is? Any answers? Thanks! All I can think of is FAFFE (Fire fighting) but I've done that every year so it shouldn't have expired... EDIT: disregard, figured it...

    MPs in the field?

Peta, Unfortunatly there are a lot of MPs like that and it's embarrassing to the trade.  I went through training and worked with guys like that and it makes you ashamed to be an MP sometimes.  They keep pushing people through that probably shouldn't be since we are hurting for people so much. ...

    SQ Memo

as with a lot of MPs I got thrown on my 3s right after Basic.  Now that I've been on the road a bit I'm hoping to finally do my SQ.  I'm writing up a memo right now but wondering if anybody else out there has any memos they're willing to share?  Cheers.

    MPAC and PT Testing

My MPAC was for reg force, I didn't think there was one for reservists...  Not until the become badged anyway. Like Dissident said, you won't get much info to prep for the MPAC.  It's a test designed to find out who you are.  The limited info you can know about ahead of time is already in these...

    The Military Police [MP] Superthread

They hold MPACs all over the country but usually in Borden ON because the academy is there.  As mentioned they plan on badging reservists but they estimate it won't be for another 5 years.  So unless you're going reg, you won't need to do an MPAC. For what the MPAC consists of, it's basically a...

    Sig Sauer P226?

The last force I was with before I joined the branch, we used the Glock 17.  It has a 17 round mag cap and is light.  I dunno, I prefered the GLock over these Sigs.  Just my personnel preference. And whoever was saying that you shouldn't need more then 9 rounds.  It happens that you do and when...

    The Military Police [MP] Superthread

If you're going thinking of joining as a reg MP eventually, then joining as a res before you finish your schooling definitely wouldn't hurt.  I was never a reservist but some of my friends have been and it's basically the field aspect of it.  It doesn't hurt to gain some experience that way...
