Arrests at anti-Israel/Anti-NATO protest in Montreal

And an ... intriguing mix at that - this from pro-ISR media ....
I wonder when the PM will call them a fringe group with unacceptable views... All it required in Ottawa was one dude on day one with a flag.

Not sure if it’s still ongoing at this moment, but it apparently got pretty spicy between protesters and Ottawa Police this evening downtown and in the market. OPS public order are out, and it’s gotten physical between police and protesters.

And to think that Canada has agreed to accept far more Palestinian refugees than originally planned.
Palestinians are not being accepted by any Muslim nation, because of their history. The King of Jordan had to use his army to evict them, after they started a Civil War in Jordan. Kuwait had to forcibly eject them after the Gulf war, as they had sided with Iraq in the invasion of Kuwait. Then look at Lebanon, once the Paris of the Mediterranean, now in ruin after Palestinians started a Civil War in Lebanon. They are a Cancer. Yet, here we are, bringing them and their hatred here.

I don’t know what the threshold is for deporting those who are non-citizens and engage in such riotous behaviour but the country would be much better off without them, even if our government doesn’t have the balls to undertake such an action.

Deportation of Permanent Residents would require convictions for pretty serious criminality.

They found Pat King guilty.

These people should be prosecuted zealously as well. Freeze their bank accounts.

What’s sauce for the goose…
How many days were they continuously interfering with the lives and livelihoods of those living in the area?

I take it rioting doesn’t meet such a threshold?

“Rioting” is exceptionally rare to charge. Generally speaking, authorities avoid proclaiming a riot because they can have serious ramifications for property insurance coverage.

Deportation for serious criminality requires a criminal to be convicted of an offence that can carry ten years or more, OR to receive an actual sentence of six months or more. And of course that all takes quite a lot of time to move through the system.
