Conservatives move to upstage Coderre.

Denis Coderre gives the impression, by stating that he paid for his trip to Afghanistan that the funding for the “fact finding” visit came out of his own pocket. Did it? As a MP does he not have an expense account to conduct parliamentary business? Is he not paid a salary as an MP? Either way, his visit was paid by Canadian taxpayers. He is personally not out of pocket one cent. The media should stop making Coderre out as a martyr. He is not. “Time well wasted”, the slogan of the Comedy channel does not even apply to Coderre.
