EME Occupational Training

Hello,

Looking to get more information about EME occupational training, how long does it take each phase and where?

All I know is after BMO the common army phase is in Gagetown but don't know how long either

Also where are some of the location for possible posting and specialty traning?

The EME school is in Borden, just outside Barrie, ON.

The basic EME officer training has recently been revamped.  It's delivered in two parts, and takes (as I recall) about 4 1/2 months.

Just a FYI, EME are not Combat Engineers or Combat Arms - I assume you thought so and that is why you posted here.  You'll find a lot of info about EME in their sub-forum in the CSS section.

Thanks, I know it's different I though on this section was for Engineering. I'm just realizing now under combat arms  :facepalm:

Will you know if you have to go for an updated interview, is it the full interview or just the portion related to the trade?
