I am wondering whether my family's medical y will prevent my acceptance. My biological father passed away at age 39 of Multiple Sclorosis. My biological mother was also in a mental instution shortly after my birth. I was not aware that family history was an issue until my husband's medical, CFAT and interview yesterday. (He passed all by the way, PT is on Nov. 12). I searched the forum but could not find any info. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

Just saw this post.  I do not think your family history will have any bearing on the application process.  The medical is fairly straight forward.  Talk to the recruiter and they should be able to tell you.  Probably not revelant question any more since it has been a while but we all have our problems.  Hope this helps.  PM if you need more info about metal problems, I can fill a hockey sock of them'

a history of hart problems and high blood presher.
it depends if the theirs is a reoccurring history or just a fluke thing
