Do we even do CAFSAC anymore? I thought that was completely eliminated a few years ago.

It doesn't matter, the medal was always be in the order of precedence, unless we are going to tell people to stop wearing it.

What I have seen is it is mostly going to the S3-MS and A/Slt - LT(N) levels.

Our brigade stated no MWO/CWO or ranks above Maj.

Our nominations were all MCpls and Sgts at qualification time.

They say explicitly that you are not to add Kings Coronation Medal to your name, I bet people are going to anyways.

It's the same for every other medal that doesn't have post nominals. Unfortunately, some people look at the accorinims used on their MMPR and think that they are post-nominals. You would think that we could afford the space to write the full name of the medal, given that some of the short forms could mean multiple Medal, SMV: Star of Military Valour/Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers (before someone brings up the Sovereigns Medal not having post-nominals, please read my full post).

The really annoying thing is when people fell the need to add numbers after there CD, even though it is specifically stated in multiple places that this is incorrect. I guess it wouldn't be as bad if some of these people didn't hold such high ranks.

If I ever become CDS, the first thing I will do is charge ever person who has CD1, etc in their signature block.

The invites to the ceremonies starting coming out this week out here- I’m a little disappointed thus far by the rank ratios I’m seeing on our side. But I’ll wait to see the final lists
