Tradition? Tradition is holding us back by maintaining all of the reserve regiment's names and armouries. What we need to do is reorganize the reserves into a smaller number of regiments, with the local reserve units being company/squadron sized elements lead by at most a Capt./Maj....Why break with army.ca tradition ? Pedantically it matches a qualification, then a position, then an appointment/position. You don't need to be an NWO to get one (though its pretty hard otherwise). Lets not denegrate each other by pointing fingers and saying one specialist badge is more valuable or harder then another. They are all different and all are awarded for different reasons.
