Treat Pilots like most Army branches: lots of folks not streamed for command who will only ever fly (NCMs) and a smaller group who will be trained and educated for institutional command, leadership and management positions.

In other words, most pilots should be flying MSE Ops, with a small number of flying transport officers.

The new payscales offer that. The issue is that we need a fair amount of flying supervisors (Majors) to run Squadrons. With our staffing levels, a majority of the folks that stay past their restricted release need to promote…

Backpay was paid out in December and everyone is on the new scales.

G2g, effective in terms of calculating back pay, but not actually getting paid.

SSM - except many reservists. No back pay or new scale yet. Many experienced guys/gals getting paid less than those many years junior to them lol
