December 19. They told me they would contact me as soon as the security clearance is finished

Nothing to worry about man! I know CF OSINT team was on leave 16 Dec to 13 Jan and my medical guy was out during the same period. Probably just a backlog of work for the security screening guys. I'm more worried about getting a slot for Int than getting my clearance LOL

Are you applying through DEO or ROTP?

My recruiter told me that they weren’t giving out slots for ROTP Int O anymore, but that they’d still interview people for the role.

ROTP. I applied in July and finished my RMC application 20 Sep so they better have saved me something lol

Hopefully.

For pilot they had already chosen the people by october/november which means that people had finished their application process the previous year and just waited one year for new slots.

I think that's what happened with Int too, but ask your recruiter to be sure.

Hoping there are still slots open. I was slotted into the Jan / Feb selection board so I still have a bit of hope left. It’ll be very disappointing if I applied so early and got everything done just to run out of slots. Finna crash out

Yeah I've heard of that too, it seems like you need pretty good connections to get in sadly.

I applied for AERE O. I’m not sure how competetive that one is but I heard it’s like average competitiveness

It has been down for a couple of days. Service Canada made an update, and now it doesn’t work.

My Application Portal is not updating so I wouldn’t know my status either maybe some people know from other years when they start flushing them out.

From what I’ve heard, January - April (final) for RMC. If you’re not competitive enough for RMC, they would give you a ROTP offer to do at a civilian university, and I'm pretty sure these come out after April.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah that’s what Military counsellor told me, that I could do it at a Civilian University or try again next year for rmc. I guess now it’s just a waiting game.

Yea I think your medical verification + security clearance will take a bit over one month, and then it’s just a waiting game
