Curses. Called the CFRC today to get an update on the status of my file. It appears that I need to see a medical specialist (or my file is before a specialist ..something to that effect. There was a language barrier. Obtaining clarification tomorrow.)
A question for anyone in the know; If I can get this done double-quick (and assuming everything is fine medically speaking) is there a chance that I can still fill a spot in St. Jean this Sept. or, given issues X, Y or Z is it just rather unlikely?
I ask because in my neck of the woods we can pay for medical services privately, and although we are now allowed to privately insure ourselves too, that court ruling is pretty recent and there are no insurance companies in the market yet (that I know of). So if I want to take this route I'm looking at spending a few bucks.
Should I pay or wait to see a specialist in the public system? (...Assuming there is a wait. I will check first.)
Thanks!
