The Europeans need to fully realise that they know must take up the mantle to defend Ukraine or they will be seen as completely, utterly emasculated around the rest of the world. We are now living in very very dangerous times

Zelensky leaves White House early​

Volodymyr Zelensky has left the White House early after a war of words broke out with Donald Trump and JD Vance.

The leaders were due to hold a joint press conference after bilateral talks over a rare mineral deal, but that media op has now been cancelled.

As the Ukrainian leader departed, he shouted towards cameras on the White House lawn, but his worlds could not immediately be made out.

Maybe now the EU steps up and makes this critical mineral deal with Ukraine that Trump has a hard on for. Box out the US, funnel arms/money into Ukraine and bleed Russia dry.

My head is still spinning from what I watched. I thought Macron grabbing Trump by the arm in the Oval Office and correcting him live on US television was earth shattering - but this, this was a case of 'hold my beer, you ain't seen nothing yet.
