Posted to Ottawa from Victoia - Income tax question

Hope somebody can answer my question.
I had a look online at Rev Canada's site and yes income tax (provincial) is less in ON than BC, but I was wondering from anyone else who has moved from BC to ON what differences they noticed in their pay.
I will be losing PLD, Aircrew & Sea Duty allowances as well, which I knew was coming, not a big deal.

I am more concerned about the income tax situation and cost of living in Ottawa vs Victoria.
